It started with a black out. Luke's senior year of high school, the power went out in the middle of a production of "My Fair Lady". While teachers collected candles so that the show could go on, Luke went backstage, found an old drum, and proceeded to improv a thirty minute song that poked fun at faculty, students, and their parents. The local newspaper ran a front page article about it the next day.
Luke has kept that same spontaneity on stages all over Los Angeles, playing everything from meth addict Andrew Stone in the world premiere of the gritty drama "The Playground", to the ugliest woman you'll ever see and nine other ridiculous characters in "Saved by the Bell : The Musical!".
In film and on television, Luke is building a reputation for creating memorable characters. Whether seen in a single scene or a leading role, his characters stand out and stay with you. Luke has worked alongside some of the best veterans in the business, including Academy Award winner Diane Keaton, Academy Award nominee Bruce Davison, Frances Fisher, Beth Grant, Barry Corbin, William Mapother, and Lin Shaye. As well as some strong young talents like Milo Ventimiglia, Jon Heder, Sara Shahi, Seth Peterson, and Sarah Paxton.
In 2010, Luke co-founded the non-profit Spare Some Change, and produced the feature length documentary "The American Street Kid", to raise awareness on homeless youth in America. He continues to volunteer with non profits, and occasionally speaks on the topic of using the arts for social change.
He enjoys soccer, playing music, sweet iced tea, and unabashedly loves "Icanhascheezburger?".
